Standards
Standard Rhododendrons were popular during the first half of the last century, and now we are finding renewed interest. We grow a limited range of yakushimanum Rhododendrons as Standards, grafted on 1 metre stems. These are ideal for patio pots or formal situations (and better looking than a Bay tree!). They require a good stake at the time of planting to prevent any wind damage.
NEW: We have just added some Standard Deciduous Azaleas! We had a 5 year contract to grow some for a Heritage Lottery funded Park Restoration, and thought we had better grow a few more so we could offer them to others!
