Chelsea plants start to flower too soon!

With the recent hot April weather, all our plants are flowering early, some by as much as 4-5 weeks. Left alone they will flower too soon, but we have been fortunate to be given access to coldstorage. We are really grateful that our friends at Blackmoor Fruit Nursery (www.blackmoor.co.uk) have allowed us to store our precious plants in their new coldstore which is holding them still at 3C. Hopefully we can now time our exhibit to flower at the right time! Sorry about the grainy picture, but the huge fridge is at high humidity with cold misty water everywhere. Perfect for the plants but not for cameras!
