Flowering late in June, this plant has excellent late scarlet red, waxy flowers with darker speckling. It is certainly eye-catching and the flowers form a spectacular ball-shaped truss and lovely matt green foliage. It will perform best in light shade. Height 150-180cm in 10 years.

It certainly ranks as one of our favourites and is ideal for hedging and screening.
