A very distinctive large frilly lavender blue flowers with a prominent purple flare in a tight conical truss. This stunning plant flowers during May and is well branched. It does benefit from pruning after flowering when young but will make a brilliant specimen. Height 150-180cm in 10 years.

This plant was awarded a RHS FCC (First Class Certificate) in 1958 and the AGM later.
