Very pretty frilled chrome yellow flowers with a red blotch and a large calyx, giving a double flowered effect. Flowering in May this plant grows well in some shade. It is compact and has bronzy young foliage. Height 120 - 140cm in 10 years.

As with all yellow Rhododendrons, this plant does need good drainage (but not dry conditions!).
