(H3-4) Conspicuous red buds open to yellow and orange bi-coloured flowers in a dome shaped truss in early May. This plant is a recent introduction from North America. It has lovely slightly rounded olive green leaves. Height 120cm in 10 years.
As with all yellow Rhododendrons, this plant does need good drainage (but not dry conditions!).
