Flat topped trusses of clear crimson bell-shaped flowers in March. Attractive smooth peely bark stems forming an upright tree-like plant, with dark rounded foliage. Height 150-175cm in 10 years.
This is an historic plant dating from before 1900 grown by the former Head Gardener for H.D. Shilson at Tremough, Cornwall.
