NEW
Very attractive cream or pale yellow flowers, sometimes heavily spotted crimson. March-April. Sprawly habit when young, but upright when mature. Height 125-150cm in 10 years.
This new species was collected by Ted Millais, and the lovely yellow flowers always attract attention when it flowers on the nursery. We have learnt that it is well worth pruning any thin straggly branches, and then it will form a good busy plant. This plant was previously sold by us as irroratum ssp. ningyuenense, but it did not key out properly to the type as it has a glandular calyx. It has now been recognised as a new species and is named after its location near Yiliang in Yunnan.
