A magnificent small to medium sized tree, raised by Dr D Todd Gresham of Santa Cruz, California in 1955. Richly scented and free flowering pale pink tulip shaped flowers, getting darker towards the base, which open with horizontal tepals in April and May. A strong growing variety which prefers moist acid or neutral soils.
