(ARBOREA H3-4) Neat trusses of pink flowers in March-April. Cinnamon red indumentum on a tall tree like plant. Rhododendron arboreum is the National flower of Nepal. Height 150cm in 10 years. Needs woodland shelter.

This arboreum cinnamomeum Everest Reunion clone makes a good show in our garden and was collected by Colonel Charles Wylie, who was in charge of logistics and the Nepali porters on the successful 1952 Everest expedition.
