SB Plant Invigorator Concentrate
Environmentally friendly Growth Stimulant and Pesticide.
We think this is a new wonder product! It was developed by a large Guernsey Tomato grower and is an organic soap based product. It has a physical mode of action and controls a wide range of pest species including Whitefly, Spider Mite and Mealybug. It also helps to control mildew and other fungal problems.
SB also contains Nitrogen and Iron Chelates (perfect for Rhododendrons!) which stick to the foliage in the soap and encourage strong healthy growth. It makes a good plant wash for the leaves, leaving a clean shiny appearance.
You can use it on all edible and ornamental crops, and it is biodegradable and non-toxic with no harvest interval.
On our nursery we have used this for several years as part of our non-chemical armoury in rotation with other products. We believe it gives excellent results against aphids, leaf-hoppers (which spread bud blast) and powdery mildew. It also promotes good dark green healthy foliage.
The bottles may look expensive, but 250ml dilutes to 25 litres of spray, (and 500ml dilutes to a massive 50 litres!) which you can safely apply without using nasty chemicals. Try 3 monthly applications in June, July and August to keep your plants free from pests and diseases, or use weekly to stimulate a clean healthy crop,
