Large pure white flowers with a rose-purple basal blotch, in a classic cup and saucer shape. April flowering. Will tolerate neutral clay soils. Forms a large shrub with wide spreading stems.

This is an early flowering variety which is wind tolerant, and normally very hardy, but can be damaged by severe frosts in April. However, keeping the plant moist and well fed should ensure vigorous new growth.
