(H4) A tall herbaceous perennial that exhibits erect, branching stems reaching up to 2 meters in height, and is characterized by sparse, oblong leaves. From summer to autumn, it produces numerous branched clusters of small lilac-purple flowers, which serve as an excellent nectar source for pollinating insects. Likes a moist but well-drained soil in full sun. 150-250cm high x 10-50cm wide in 2-5 years.
