A recent introduction with pink buds opening to stunning cream flowers with pink edges in trusses of 2 to 4 in April. This is a super compact and very free flowering plant. Height 30-40cm in 10 years.

Dwarf Rhododendrons don't mind the sun but they hate too much heat, so do avoid reflected heat from South facing walls and patios, particularly if planting in containers. The flowers on this plant last best in part day shade. One of the 'bird' series of dwarf hybrids bred at Glendoick in Scotland.

  • Recommended for containers, small gardens and front of borders.
  • Easy to grow.
  • Ideal position: most garden situations but avoid too much heat.
  • Habit: dense mound.
  • Group: Dwarf Rhododendron hybrid.
  • Parentage: keiskei 'Yaku Fairy' (s) X dark form of glaucophyllum.
  • Hybridization date: pre 2000 (1983)
  • Bred by: Peter and Ken Cox. Origin: British.
  • Ideal soil: pH 4.5 to 6.0
  • RHS Hardiness Rating: H6.
  • How we usually propagate this plant: Cutting.
