This is an excellent clone with pink daphne like flowers in May. It has an upright habit and aromatic narrow lanceolate leaves. Height 40cm in 10 years. primuliflorum Doker La prefers moist neutral soil.
Dwarf Rhododendrons don't mind the sun but they hate too much heat, so do avoid reflected heat from South facing walls and patios. We think this is one of the best clones available.
The RHS awarded this plant an AGM in 2013, but please note that it is tricky to grow. It dislikes fertilizer, needs cool roots in the summer and good drainage.
