Striking deep violet flowers in April-May. This particular clone has been specially selected for its really deep coloured flowers and always gets lots of attention. An excellent garden shrub with small glossy scaly leaves and a compact mounding habit. Height 40-60cm in 10 years.
Dwarf Rhododendrons don't mind the sun but they hate too much heat, so do avoid reflected heat from South facing walls and patios.
