(H5) Distinctive dark wine red foliage, especially on new leaves and on their undersides which are displayed when ruffled by the wind. New growth bronze. Bright rose pink flowers, fading to pale pink, in an open-topped truss. Very free flowering in April. Height 100-125cm in 10 years.

Rhododendron Yaku Angel
(H5) Pink in bud, opening to trusses of white flowers with light brown spotting during early May. Deep green leaves with a tan indumentum on the underside, and white tomentum on the new upper surfaces. A neat growing compact plant, growing wider than taller with lovely foliage. Pink in bud opening to delightful white bell shaped flowers giving the appearance of apple blossom, in the form of a compact truss in May.
