A choice plant with striking deep red to bright scarlet tubular bell shaped flowers in February - April. It has handsome dark shiny foliage with a wonderful thick fawn wooly indumentum on the underside of the leaves. With pinky-red smooth peeling bark and fantastic young growth, it really is a stunner.
