Hamamelis intermedia Rubin AGM
(H5) A rounded, upright deciduous shrub or small tree with wrinkled, oval green leaves that turn yellow and orange in autumn. It produces lightly scented, ruby-red flowers with narrow, crimped petals on bare branches in late winter and early spring. Easy to grow in an open but unexposed site. Requires moist but well-drained acid or neutral soil. 2.5-4m heigh in 10-20 years.

(H5) A deciduous shrub with long, arching branches. Small green leaves from the spring and bright yellow flowers to 2.5cm in width in winter and spring. Like a sheltered position, with good well-drained soil, in full sun or partial shade. 200-250cm high and wide in 10 years.
Leucanthemum × superbum 'Crazy Daisy'
(H4) A clump forming herbaceous perennial with dark green, toothed, lance-shaped leaves. It produces bright white, double flowers which have fringed and twisted petals and a bright yellow centres that can bloom for an extended period in the summer if dead-headed regularly; it may require staking. Likes a moist but well-drained soil in full sun. 100cm high x 100cm wide in 5 years.

(TRIFLORA H4) Yellow flowers April/May. Lower leaf surface glaucous white with conspicuous brown scales. Requires a sheltered position in dappled shade. Height 100-125cm in 10 years. Requires moist well drained acid soil.

Pocket handkerchief tree. Large white flower bracts in May, draped on a medium sized tree, with rugged bark. Reddish autumn foliage. Good winter hardiness. Height 2-4 metres in 10 years. Good on most fertile soils.
